ChromaLine Privacy Policy
ChromaLine is an Android icon pack by App Mania. Most features work locally on your device and do not require an account.
Information used on your device
When you choose “Find missing icons,” ChromaLine checks launchable apps visible to Android and compares them with the icon pack. This check happens on your device. Nothing is sent until you review the results, select apps and tap Send.
Missing-icon requests
If you submit a request, ChromaLine sends the selected app names, package names, launcher activity names and the ChromaLine version. Firebase creates an anonymous installation identifier to prevent duplicate requests. We do not request your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, messages or usage history.
How information is used
Submitted information is used to understand icon coverage, create requested artwork, prevent duplicate requests and improve future ChromaLine updates. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Service providers and security
ChromaLine uses Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and App Check to receive and protect requests. Data is encrypted in transit. Google processes this information as a service provider under its applicable terms.
Retention and deletion
Requests may be retained while they are useful for creating and maintaining icon coverage. To request deletion of a submitted request, email appmania14@gmail.com with the package names you submitted and any information that can help identify the request.
Children
ChromaLine is a personalization product and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the app or its services change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
